There's some kind of "weird" issue that happens when you try to reset a stateful object back to its initial value with Redux. This only works when the object you're trying to mutate is also references in the initialState otherwise the value only exists in the store object.

Why's frontend much more complicated than it should be?. It started off really simple and quickly evolved into a complex field in its own right.

I updated the comment section project's scoring system so it works the way Reddit's scoring does. If you click the upvote button twice, it resets the updated score to the initial value. If you click the upvote button after downvoting, it sets the score to the upvoted value.

Do you enjoy receiving cold calls?. I don't do any of that when I'm trying to sell a service.

Did you know it's important to write complex state update logic inside a reducer function in Redux?. It's because it makes it possible to test the functionality in a single location without having to track every component that reuses the update logic.

I can't believe I spent more time reading a "productivity book" that took more time than actually getting anything productive done. That's why I dropped the idea of ever having a "system". Just having clear priorities and a list of actionable steps you can take is enough.
