Today‘s kids will be nostalgic booting up a smartphone or a laptop. They will then distribute the message to all their friends via the chip implanted in their brain or something.

My Internet usage is 6 GB per day. I‘ve had issues with my Internet at home so I‘ve been using my mobile phone data connection and measured it. Not sure if this is a lot or not….

Looking into Better Auth vs Auth.js. I've used Auth.js so far as I typically use Next.js and they integrate nicely. However, it seems things change if I want to create a React Native app as well. Seems Better Auth integrates with React Native Expo much more easily?.

Public cloud is expensive!. This is the actual cost of a moderately complex web app deployed on GCP:.- Next.js server.- PostgreSQL DB.- Public storage bucket.- VPC with a private subnet.- Docker deployment. You can host multiple of those on a $50 VPS!

And btw. the secrets are handled securely. The user inputs them in the browser. The API call to the Twitter API needs to be done on the backend, because of CORS, but I'm submitting the OAuth signature generated in the browser directly instead of the secrets!.

Everything is exponential!. Is see an interesting trend of people calling any kind of growth exponential, even if it isn't. Seems like if you are not growing exponentially you are a loser. The thing is you can fit an exponential curve into any kind of linear growth 😉.

Tried implementing a not that complex task with Claude Code. I kind of liked the interaction where it asks me how to do some things and it looks more consistent than the Cursor agent. On the flip side it took very long and couple of iterations until it actually did it. Not too.
