Then a bee came and crashed our party but this one stayed calm and made a new friend ☺️🐝

Had fun exploring weathering and erosion today with @MrsShpil! We love science outside ☀️

We loved using muffins for fractions.. and even more when we got to eat them! 😋 We also enjoyed the weather and worked on some readers theater outside! 📖 ☀️

Yesterday we listened to The Doorbell Rang and made fair shares with cookies! At the end I challenged them to see what they needed to do to split 12 cookies with 24 people and they quickly started breaking their cookies in half! 🍪

Exploring fractions with graham crackers! 😋 My favorite was when a student said “if we break our eighths in half we would make sixteenths!” 🤩

Forgot to post from the 5️⃣0️⃣th day of school last week! We had a rockin’ time!! 🤩🎸

So thankful for our helper from @MsZizzo3rd! He did a great job helping at stations and getting students to dive deeper into their thinking! 🤔 💡

We had so much fun exploring magnets in the science lab! First we made predictions, then put them to the test! 👩‍🔬🧑‍🔬🧲

This student LOVES reptiles and was so eager to tell me all of the similarities and differences he learned about alligators and crocodiles in this book! 🐊📚🥰

Enjoyed our class earned pj day and spent time laughing at homophone jokes today! 🥳

Spent some time exploring lots of math manipulatives and practiced turning and talking with our reading buddies today! 📚

We’ve had SO much fun the first two days of school 🤩 I was super impressed with how well they worked with their math partners today. I also heard some great table talk during our paper chain challenge! ⛓
