A team of students from the Dyson Institute worked with @ccquad, a quadruple amputee, to create a solution that would allow her to attach a lead to her dog, Duke, so she can take him for walks without assistance.

Students from @SheffUniEng and @SwanseaUni worked with Pauline and Tony to design a solution for nerve damage rehab that exercises the fingers safely by mirroring the movement of the healthy hand, thus combining the benefits of physio and mirror therapy.

@SheffUniEng students worked with a Sheffield resident who uses a pressure relief chair to relieve chronic pain, but is unable to move the chair independently. The team designed a motorised bracket that could be attached to the chair.

The winning entry: @EngineeringNCL students worked with professional French horn player Chris Griffiths from Gateshead and @TheOHMITrust to create this great stand that allows Chris to continue playing despite bone and muscle deterioration caused by #CMT.
