3 years ago Masahiko Komino, chief animation director and character designer for Stardust Crusaders, shared this animation he made of Kenshiro, and it's sad cause I would rather a FOTNS remake in a similar style than what we got, even if it took a few more years to produce.

It does have 2D scenes like this cool looking one with Shin staring at Southern Cross City, but the other 2D scenes shown have a lot of still images being panned or shaken, which worries me that these 2D animations will be sprinkled here and there and not something you see often

I tried keeping my expectations balanced for the Fist of The North Star remake since it was unclear if they were going for 2D or 3D, I knew about the likelyhood of CG being the route since the first key visual already showed a lot of details and crosshatching, but this saddens me
