Taking call with @UABOrtho has been such an amazing experience over the last few months. Been able to scrub into such interesting cases like a distal femur fracture with vascular compromise and a gluteal compartment syndrome fasciotomy. Amazing training and operative exposure!

Thank you @HSS_Journal for highlighting our study identifying a concerning trend in the readability of publicly available patient education materials. We as healthcare professionals should strive to increase health literacy wherever we can!
#MedTwitter – This study of online resources on shoulder instability suggests that the accessibility of online patient educational materials may have created a unique “pseudo-consultation” avenue for patients seeking information about orthopedic concerns. https://t.co/B2hpJXPnrq

#WritingforCORR Tip #11: Your Methods & Results should focus on outcomes; not read like a list of tools. ✔️ "To determine the mechanism of failure, a fracture surface analysis was performed.." ❌ "Scanning electron microscopy was conducted.." Learn more: https://t.co/ocrPJU8U4v
