Make UAW's statement more than just hollow words in a press release. We know the Harris campaign has been calling: tell them what you know they need to hear. (10/10)

Not some down-the-road winnowing of support, but an end *here and now* brought about by the present administration—an administration in which Harris still serves, despite the sudden electoral reconfiguration. (9/10)

This is a lucky break for our union: a chance to do better than the won-and-wasted Biden endorsement. Hold Harris to the demands of our local, our international, and the larger labor movement—demand an end to military aid to Israel as a precondition of any endorsement. (8/10)

We are well aware of the comfortable relationship between large unions and the Democratic Party, often facilitated by such endorsements. In our lifetimes, UAW has endorsed every Democratic presidential candidate—albeit often through gritted teeth. (5/10)

We appreciate that you haven't yet jumped to endorse Harris, as have other leaders on the left. While she is not Biden, her role in the current administration and its support of the genocidal occupation yet demands our concern. (4/10)
