.@NYSDEC continues to say that we are at adequate staffing of Environmental police. Our allotted staffing level is 342 however we have not been staffed at that level in decades. When this incident happened we were below 260 officers statewide with more job duties than ever

This coyote looks in rough shape. May be sick, a bad stream crossing or possibly got in a fight with other coyotes. It's a small coyote. I've never seen one this mangy. Healthy trot so may be nothing. Saratoga County #Adirondacks
