Cable modem randomly dies. Whole livelihood is online. Order expensive updated replacement modem on Amazon. Doesn’t arrive on day expected… Learn about UPS and Amazon layoffs. New modem expected delivery date now a full week later. FAN-F*CKING-TASTIC! 👍😭🤷♂️

Of *course* it’s only when my modem randomly dies, and I’m still waiting for replacement, that a client manages to thoroughly break their WP site. Ever have to repair database and config files with nothing but an iPhone? Technically doable, but total suckage. 😑🤷♂️

Temporarily having phone-only internet access has become an interesting learning opportunity… In particular, I’ve learned that my “for you” feed on X is FAR more random TRASH on mobile than it is on desktop… Very interesting indeed. 🤔 🧐

All prepped for next 2 days of freezing where I’m at in TX. However, didn’t anticipate having no real internet (just limited phone data). Not driving icey roads to town for new modem, and even Amazon can’t get it here til Wednesday. Gonna be a whole other experience now. 🤷♂️🥶📻☕️
