I also get a bonus if you sign up through that link, but that's not why I'm posting, they really are just a lifesaver. No idea how I would manage all this shit of payroll and taxes without them.

LOL my Spotify listening age for this year.... 68! It says I listened to a lot of music from the 70s. I would have guessed I listened to more 80s.

I love Davinci Resolve, it's really great for video editing. But I can't believe you can't just drag a video from an iPhone into it and have it work. WTF?

I love Notion but tried to manage tasks for a project using it and ended up going back to Trello. Notion's kanban board is kind of off, it's not polished enough, and many small quirks just make it not not fun to use (even though most of the functionality is there).

I can't wait to see the next generation of these, I'm sure they'll be impressive.

4/4 The most useful thing these glasses can currently do is take pictures/videos hands-free, which is great. But you don't need a display for that. The cheaper, gen 2 Meta Ray Bans look much better, are less bulky, and are more comfortable (and cost $400 instead of $800)

3/4 The overall use case isn't there. The only practical use case for the display is navigation for walking or biking; otherwise I didn't see any useful apps.

1/4 They're too bulky and don't feel good on your face. 2/4 The Neural Band is cool but it didn't work properly and I think it will be uncomfortable to wear for long periods.

I got some questions about what I think about the Meta Ray Ban Display glasses that I demo'd today: Cool concept and pretty impressive to see all the tech they packed into such a small device. But not worth getting this version for a few reasons:

Thousands of Eight Sleep owners were stuck with burning hot beds and couldn't adjust their bed positions during Amazon's outage 😮. Isn't the future great? https://t.co/hJ3TFE9PT6

This guy almost got hacked by a fake job interview. Everything looked legit and the interviewer sent him a "test project", standard practice for tech interviews to evaluate his skills. The project wasn't as innocent as it seemed... https://t.co/UqYmCsnXT3

Just got a Sora 2 invite code thanks to this site https://t.co/rLZQ9H2tsw (I'm not affiliated with them, it just worked!)

Spatial Photos in iOS 26 are pretty cool. And yes, I like the Liquid Glass design.

Grok now lets you turn images into videos for free and the results are pretty good. The sound still needs work but the pace of advancement is unreal. I created this in 10 seconds.

On September 30th 2025 AOL is shutting down their dial up service! I'm guessing they could just wait a few weeks and the remaining users will just die of natural causes anyway. https://t.co/JVElSfIsGX

Dial-up's days are numbered, after 34 years of service.
