Take a look at this press release for our latest paper. We found that Type 2 Diabetes alters reward responses in the frontal cortex and reward-related behavior. This provides insights into T2D role as a risk factor for dementia and depression.

This study was part of my postdoc work at @JamesMHyman lab and focuses on understanding spatial and reward information processing via ACC - hippocampal interactions and how they might be affected in #type2diabetes / hyperglycemia. Stay tuned for the full access version!!.
