If your a #premed, be sure to get some shadowing experience before you start #applying to medical schools. This is a good chance to look at any specialties you're interested in. The #AAMC has a list of the many #medical specialties. Start shadowing with an open mind! Ch. 3.7.

When you take the MCAT depends on when you want to go to medical school. If you look to apply "straight through," you should take the #MCAT before, during, or immediately after your junior year. If you're taking a gap year, you should take the MCAT before May of your senior year.

When applying to #medical schools, timing is vital. Most schools have rolling #admissions, so a certain number of spots will already be filled if you #apply late. Also, schools that don't do rolling admissions may have rolling #interview offers, so be #efficient with your time.

There are many ways to repay #medical school debt. The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) is a government institution that offers four loan repayment options. One such option is the NHSC Loan Repayment Program, which aids physicians who work at least two years of primary care.

Before med school interviews, you want to practice as much as possible. Try to come up with five big ideas that you want your interviewer to walk away with. You can practice this by answering common interview questions and writing down what you want to highlight on an index card.
