I'm teaching a course on consciousness and I'd like to cover the role of memory for consciousness, especially how some sort of memory buffer is needed to stabilize experiences long enough for us to experience it and report on them. Does anyone know of any good literature on this?.

I don’t see how the psychophysical harmony idea gets off the ground without dualism or the like. Dualism is false. Hence, I don’t see any problem for atheism.
@gualtieropicc I would like to hear what you have to say about the ‘psychophysical harmony’ argument against atheism. I think the discussion is lacking philosophers who have a solid view of how cognition works.
