Lawyers get a bad name - sometimes deservedly. But many do essential work. Our lawyers kept us out of court (even when I wrote "Jimmy Savile was a paedophile" fully aware that it was a criminal offence) & then got us into court to overturn that absurd law.

Are you not getting emails from people who can’t afford to eat asking why you couldn’t afford to pay for your own dinner on 24th January this year?
Truly staggering. I’m seeing parents in my surgeries, and getting emails from military families, who aren’t wealthy, don’t have someone to magically gift them £20k - but now cannot afford to do what they believe is right for their children because of Starmer’s VAT on fees.
