Squall actually is another perfect example of how KH and FF versions are different. Squall in KH is a lot more how I would envision him post FF8, that he is very much a leader and all that sort of thing. Whereas in FF8 he’s more reserved and such, growing to be a leader.
FF7 Cloud is a screwed up in the head, trying hard to cool guy… of course you learn the reality of him and Zack, and how they are connected etc. KH Cloud is just cool guy Cloud essentially.

Like, I love Cloud’s KH1 Design. It’s great. But again,a lot KH’s usage of the FF characters are more different versions than their FF game counterparts… mostly, because then you have Auron who is basically the same as he is in FF10.
