Navy Shuler ’20
@ShulerNavy
set records at Christ School that may never be broken.
In his heart, the Greenie was always meant to play quarterback for the University of Tennessee even if it happened in a roundabout way.

John Fulkerson ’16
@fulkerson_john
posted a double-double (17 points and 11 rebounds) for Belgium’s Leuven Bears in his pro debut Saturday, an 83-81 overtime win over Charleroi.
John starts at forward for Leuven and was on the court for 43 minutes in the team's season opener.
When a legendary coach like Nick Saban wants you, it opens the door to a whole other level of recruiting.
That door opened this weekend for Cayden Jones ’24,
@caydenjones_33
who became the first Christ School football player to ever receive a scholarship offer from Alabama.
Aydan White '20
@aydanwhite9
was at it again Saturday night.
The Christ School alumnus made his ACC-best fourth interception of the season for N.C. State in a 30-21 home win over Wake Forest.
Congratulations to Keyvaun Cobb '19, who signed his NLI with Wofford Football today. Keyvaun was named NCISAA All-State 3 times, amassed 1502 yards from scrimmage this season and intercepted 11 passes.

Let's hang another banner.
Scorers tonight: Emanuel Richards 16, Jamari Briggs 12, Bryson Cokley 10, Keenan Wilkins 7, Anthony Robinson 4, and Lleyton Thomas-Johnson 4.
Christ School ends the season with a 31-4 record.
A date with destiny tonight for Rocky Hansen '23.
Enjoy the finish to the first sub 4-minute mile in North Carolina track & field history.
The full race will be shown Monday to Christ School students and faculty in Assembly.

He did it!
Christ School senior Rocky Hansen ‘23 has become the first boys runner in the history of North Carolina track to break 4 minutes in the mile this evening at a meet in Virginia!
@WakeTrack
@NCRunners
Congratulations are in order for Varsity Baseball players Max LeCroy '19 and Chad Treadway '19, who today were named Perfect Game Underclass All-Americans. Well done for two great student-athletes!
The final play from Charlotte. Coach Walker rolls the dice in overtime by going for 2 and the Greenies get it! Final score from the first round of the NCISAA Division I state playoffs: Greenies 36, Charlotte Latin 35.
“Who wanted it more?” Head coach Nick Luhm and Christ School varsity football win their biggest game of the year by far - Friday’s 14-13 victory at previously-undefeated Charlotte Providence Day on Homecoming for the Chargers (5-1). Greenies improve their record to 4-1.
The exhilaration from Saturday night’s state-championship win is still palpable all over campus as the boys begin a new week. Coach Josh Coley
@Coach_Coley
helped lead a celebration of the NCISAA 4-A champions in Monday’s Assembly.
#GoGreen
A standing ovation in morning Assembly for the 🐐from 300 of his brothers.
Christ School students and faculty watched every lap of the 3:59.56 mile run by Rocky Hansen ‘23 on Sunday, responding in kind to a Greenie being the first boy in state history to break 4 minutes.
Josh Coley brings to Christ School a proven track record as an effective leader and winning coach. The school is confident that Mr. Coley will maintain our tradition of success as the Greenies’ new Varsity Basketball Coach.
Go Green!

All five starters have been named to the all-conference team for the Carolinas Athletic Association, the best representation the Greenies have seen in 14 years.

#11
in the country so far this season.

It’s official! Painter Richards-Baker ‘21
@Painter_rb
signed to play college football in the Ivy League for Dartmouth
@DartFootball
on Wednesday. Congratulations, Painter!
Christ School football experienced a seismic breakthrough in 2020 with the program’s first-ever state title. The challenge of building on that success now lies with new Head Varsity Football Coach Chad Walker.
The fastest distance runner in Christ School history has picked his college destination.
Congratulations to Andrew Hammel '20 on his verbal commitment to the Furman University cross country and track programs!
@FurmanPaladins
@NCRunners
Kaedin Robinson ‘19
@kaedinrobinson
was the man in motion Saturday and a largely-unsung hero in Appalachian State’s “Miracle on the Mountain” to beat Troy, 32-28. Keep your eye on the tail end of the play for the instinctive blocking by No. 2 that secures the touchdown.
See you Saturday!
The Greenies (25-5) avenge their last loss and give Covenant Day (22-8) its first home defeat of the year in the NCISAA 4-A state semifinals.
Christ School will play either Charlotte Providence Day or Cannon School for the state championship Saturday.
Greenie football is getting a chance to iron out the preseason kinks and simulate game-type situations tonight during a jamboree in East Flat Rock, N.C. Here is the first touchdown of the night against Hendersonville High - a pass from Navy Shuler ‘20 to Aydan White ‘20.
A state championship season speaks for itself. Until the awards say it even louder.
Congratulations to Coach Coley
@coach_coley
and our five starters on their All-Western North Carolina Basketball awards from the Asheville Citizen-Times.
