Our Education team are delivering a bespoke programme with the school’s geography lead on questions like ‘conserve or develop our local greenspace?’ We love the ‘big question’ approach which develops rich, experiential curriculum-linked sessions that bring the learning to life.

Join us this Sat 28th for some gardening. We'll be on Newington Green 10-12 watering, planting, mulching, watching the bees and generally spending time outside in nature. The session is open to all, no experience needed and we provide gloves, tools, guidance and refreshments.

Finding many thirsty or dead bees this time of year in the woods. The dead bees are hollowed out by either birds or insects eating them. We encouraged the children to hold one for a closer look. We left it on a log, and a child noticed “ants carrying it on their heads!”

Nature at night. The evenings at TGC’s camping residentials see classes of children eating and singing together round the campfire, reflecting on their ‘magic moments’ from the day and taking walks to explore the nature at night with the TGC team.
