Remember startups generally start with a "thin edge of the wedge." The early game is going from zero to one, which means you have to find a set of people willing to use your product & pay. THEN you grow to turn that wedge into a piece of the pie. Alphabet wasn't built in a day.

I spent 30 minutes looking for DNS settings on @vercel because I assumed adding a subdomain would be painful like every other platform. Turns out you just type it in and hit save. New product goal: don't stop until the UX is so smooth that experts are the ones overthinking it.

There should be a term for apps you use so infrequently that every time you open them, they need to be updated. All the airline apps fall in this category. What a terrible UX pattern.

As a kid growing up in Florida, I remember waiting months to run out in the backyard and catch just a glimpse of the space shuttle. Now we get to watch one (or more) launches almost every day, casually posted to the timeline in HD. What a time to be alive.
