. I politely pointed out a video they posted about Pelosi was well-known to be doctored and selectively edited. The response was, "their side does it too." I agreed. Then added "not trusting the media anyway" and deleted the exchange. I kept a copy for the heck of it.

Hearing 'California Stars' on @wfuv this morning, lyrics by #WoodyGuthrie put to music by @billybragg and @Wilco, I was reminded of the Guthrie-inspired #wine event I co-ran. It opened with a Schramsberg sparkling wine - the California stars for that night.

First local #cantaloupe or #muskmelon of the season. It's like sparkling #wine and Champagne. All Champagne is sparkling wine; not all sparkling is Champagne. All 'lopes are muskmelons; not all muskmelons are cantaloupe. Whatever the name, for this early in the season, its great!

Today was my Feast Day. The Feast of St. Henry. My mother would use it as an excuse to bake a cake for me. St. Henry was also a king, Importer of Rome. He had a strong wife and mother, but no indication either baked for him. I like strong women. #feastday #SaintHenry
