As it's the 22nd, there'll be a few tutus taking part. Wearing Red for Wales, to show support for the rugby welcome too. You could also come as a Kiwi, but you might get eaten.

Some of last Saturday's libertarians! Next to one of Cardiff's main bridges it's feels like we're quite similar to @parkrunusa new event in the big apple. We hope that Brooklyn Bridge parkrun helps shine a big positive light.

It's going to be warm, even at parkruntime. A lightweight or light coloured top will feel cooler, strongly suggest bringing a drink to run with or have afterwards. Some four legged friends could find it a bit much & may be better off spectating or marshalling this week.

It's an odd numbered minutes pacer week. Times from 21 to 39 plus 45 minutes, with the possibility 19 / 41 / 43 will be added. Be in the start area for 8:45 if you want offer a remaining time, by 8:50 if you're new, 8:55 otherwise. Also absolutely fine to do your own thing!

Wave if you're exciting for more summer parkrunning There's due to be five event this August, we'd love you to join us for all of them - or as many as you can.

We'll have even minute pacers spread through the field at this week's event. They're covering 20 to 40 mins, possibly more if there's late offers for a couple of additional times. Odd minute pacers will be in two weeks time (Saturday 9th August).

It's going to be a Nice Day - like an Indian Summer, in July! Stereophonics fans & crew are of course welcome, and it'd be great to see some Porthcawl 10k t-shirts. Visitors please allow plenty of time to get to the event, first timer's welcome up in the start area about 8:50.
