Given talk of hosepipe bans and we know that the earth is getting warmer, droughts aren't a new thing, yet the sea levels are rising...we never hear about how much water companies have invested in desalination plants?? @SouthernWater @thameswater @SESWater @SouthWestWater

Given that we pay for our water through a meter, as well as a standing charge... if restrictions are put in place on us using it (such as a hosepipe ban), should we not get a reduction in our standing charges? Just asking out of interest @SouthernWater @thameswater #hosepipeban

I don't usually post anything political, as I do believe people are entitled to their own opinions..... But is now not the time for a vote of no confidence in the Government? One thing I can't stand is double standards! and at a time when people have suffered!
