Look around today. Look at water drops on plants, light on objects, smiles or frowns of people around you. Look at this earth a bit closer, and look beyond-at the sun, the moon, the stars. This is the place in space, along the trajectory of the earth, that @carolune was born ❤️💔.

As humanity grapples with challenges that threaten both life and livelihoods on this fragile planet, maybe it's time for the global South to play a stronger leadership role and take up its original place at the top of the world. Happy #AfricaDay2025! ❤️ (original Blue Marble pic)

I wrote this tribute to mothers on the first Mother's Day without @carolune. I want to share these words again. I remain in awe of mothers everywhere - they will always be key to making the world a better place. Happy #MothersDay2025 ❤️

I am the legacy of a rock solid over-50-year-old team and it is an honour and privilege to call myself their son.

We are shaped by our relationships and our experiences, but our foundations are built by our parents. My foundations are solid thanks to my parents. Everything I have ever achieved or will achieve is also a tribute to them.

Of course these are also the fundamental values that @carolune and I have lived by and is naturally what brought her so close to them - she would have loved to have been here to celebrate this milestone with us.

Their selfless caring for people, their humour and humility, are values that we grew up with and what we wish for our children as well. They have always put their children and grandchildren first, above themselves, without hesitation.

Today is my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. They remain the strong, incredible team today that I always remember them to be. Their unconditional love and kindness towards each other, their family, and everyone they interact with, is an example for the world.
