Trip to the National Space Centre on our way down for tomorrows British Grand Prix. Trying not to think of these things as bucket list but there is definitely a bit more urgency in my weekend activities now 😬😂. Hope you’re all having a good weekend

It has been a tough couple of weeks treatment-wise. Getting used to new medication and changed side effects has been a challenge. It’s my one week treatment break now though so I’ll be mainly acting like a kid loaded up on Haribo. Have a cracking weekend everyone. ❤️.

When I got told my cancer was terminal, I promised myself I wouldn’t be going anywhere until Sunderland were back in the Premier League. Thank you @SunderlandAFC for making it happen. ❤️🤍❤️🤍. Til the end.

When I was told my cancer was terminal I prayed I’d get to see my youngest daughter make her holy communion. Today that happened. Whatever cancer does next, I already won. ❤️

Latest scan results weren’t good but the harder cancer hits the harder I’ll hit back. I’m not on a journey, I’m in a fight. And it’s getting scrappy.

My latest scan wasn’t good. More growth in my liver means moving onto a new treatment. Cancer is like a slow-motion train wreck. I’m clinging to the tracks for now though.

Scan day. It’s a strange one already knowing there’ll be growth - just have to hope for as little change as possible. Ps. I haven’t been on Twitter much cos it’s awful these days - not because there’s anything wrong 😁.

Obviously it’s not the main issue here, but imagine the leader of a foreign country turning up on a Saturday teatime when you’re settling down to watch the telly. I get stressed when Amazon deliver after I’ve put my house clothes on.

Watched Gladiator 2 this week. It’s the most disappointing thing to have happened all year. And that is something having just been told my cancer has got worse.

Latest scan shows my tumours have grown again. More than 5 years since diagnosis and I’ve been very lucky, but stable doesn’t last forever. “Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.”.
