A straightforward and thoughtful take on an academic problem yet to be solved. While this may just be a thought experiment, it raises many interesting and thought-provoking points about how bias can affect both the quality of scholarship and the reputation of universities.

An extraordinary gift to a remarkable institution that’s showing a bold new way to reimagine higher education.

Great to meet up with you and Neil!
Proud of the grit @WVUfootball showed tonight for the #CoalRush @WestVirginiaU game. Lots of positives to build on. Enjoyed being with @gordongee & President Neil Bucklew. Meeting members of the legendary Bowden family was a highlight. And @WVUMarchingBand always delivers.

Dr. Chris Howard has been an inspiration to many for his unerring commitment to the academy and the Nation.  He now serves as COO of @ASU.  Though I admire him, I will never forgive him for leading the Air Force Academy football team to a win over Ohio State in the Liberty Bowl.

How much government is too much government? For many of us, the answer to that question depends on who’s in charge. @SenAlexander brings up some great points about the risk of federal overreach in higher education. Many of the goals the Trump administration wishes to achieve in
President Trump’s proposed higher education compact may provoke some useful dialogue around reform. But the federal government shouldn’t try to manage the nation’s 6,000 colleges and universities, writes @SenAlexander
