If I was the producer of Ramayana. I would make Nitesh Tewari sit and make him watch the LOTR to make him understand how to create scenes which involves lots of characters and conflicts/ battles.
'Looked a bit to much like Lord of Rings'. No sir. LOTR used actual location, real horses, real people to make up the army. It was not shot in a 2×2 ft room and layered CGI.

The fact of the matter is at the end of the day. I don't trust Indian directors. They have this unique ability to screw up the source material.
Ramayana's success will depend upon if the maker's minimise their use of GGI, use real locations, use natural light to create the enviroment or will they go for CGI maxxed cartoon green screen filming.
