Last week @Refugees launched #NotOnlyMe, an interesting new way to support survivors of sexual harassment. In my final days with UNHCR, I am very proud of this important milestone in our efforts to ensure that survivors are central to the fight against sexual misconduct.

Communicating on #PSEA with the people we serve must happen at the outset of an emergency response. Great to see this proactive approach by colleagues @UNHCRMozambique.
In Maputo Province, following the floods that affected over 44,000 people, UNHCR is delivering protection mainstreaming and #PSEA messaging to the affected population at various temporary shelters and centers.

Thanks to Lucky’s skillful driving we had a great trip to Nayapara refugee camp today. Lucky is one of four female drivers working @UNHCR_BGD in Cox’s Bazaar, breaking barriers and stereotypes in a typically make-dominated profession!

Committed leadership - as demonstrated by our leadership @UNHCRSouthSudan and our UNHCT partners - is so important in our efforts to tackle sexual exploitation and abuse and sexual harassment.
Good work is put into prevention and response of PSEA in South Sudan. Thanks yo UNHCT under the leadership of DSRSG/RC/HC Sara Nyanti. Together we can prevent such acts from happening.

The U.S. Government’s engagement principles on PSEA & SH are a welcome development in our collective efforts to tackle sexual misconduct. We @Refugees have made headway in putting these principles into practice, but much more remains to be done!.
Could not have said this any better ourselves - @UN has zero tolerance for inaction in response to sexual misconduct - we aim at every stage to put survivors’ needs at the center. Prevention is best - tools & policies exist. Impact is what we seek now.
