The piece, which is hand-sculpted and animated frame by frame in virtual reality, creates an abstracted middle space in which physical and digital experiences and existences converge – a strange realm with powerful arbiting forces that make decisions beyond our grasp.

Drawing inspiration from game emblem design, “Spell Chest” explores humanity’s fascination with little symbols, their powerful allure, and how deeply ingrained they are in our digital lives.

Primary sale includes the first edition physical archival print signed and numbered on Mulberry Washi paper. Full resolution video file available upon request.

A new work of mine will display in MILAN this NYE!!! The work will be displayed on a hugo monolith in downtown for a week, more details to come :)

Who else no longer trusts the Emmys after Better Call Saul got snubbed?

The works can only be as original as the ideas behind them. I think this marks an age where there will be less emphasis on technical skill and more on conceptual thinking and ideation.

One thing I will say though is that Dalle definitely has the capability to create plagiarized artworks. If the search parameters don’t combine enough ideas or happen to create a work that is super close to the source material, then you can definitely get sued.

This is one of the reason’s it’s so enjoyable to type things in and combine ideas, because the outputs are surprising and suggest a deeper understanding of certain design concepts.
