ICYMI: The EU is planning a new law that would allow people to sue companies after being harmed by an AI system. The goal is to hold AI companies and users accountable, and require them to explain how their AI systems were built and trained. https://t.co/qWIE2wITJW

A new bill will allow consumers to sue companies for damages—if they can prove that a company’s AI harmed them.

If we are creating tomorrow’s institutions for tomorrow’s inheritors, how do we get a sense of tomorrow’s values?

I’m done using yesterday’s values to solve today’s problems so that tomorrow sucks. Not doing it anymore. #integrousdesign

Twitter bans multiple Elon Musk parodies (which identified themselves properly) after Elon says all parody accounts must clearly identify themselves. Sketchy. https://t.co/11jPxjLWeW

Imposter Syndrome is a shame frame. What's the criteria for non-imposters? Who said? Did everyone get to consent? What relationship DO you have with your topic, beyond authority? Imposter Syndrome believes that only authorities get to have a say. Is that YOUR democracy? 🧐

Those defending the status quo are almost always rendered "confused" by those instigating progress. Don't settle for the hamster wheel or rabbit hole of continuing to explain, justify and document again and again. Consent matters. Reexplaining until you're drained, sucks.

One of my favorite things to collect is wisdom, and one of my favorite scenes to collect it from is everywhere - every person, every culture, every continent. What's one weird thing you collect, and where's your favorite source?

Sometimes when we talk about freedom, we're not specific about 4 things: who we're freeing, from what, toward where, and what for. If you value freedom, it's valuable to get clear on those things. Freedom is one of those flexi-values: not all folks mean it the same way.

I've been thinking today about the offering for others that's behind my weirdest writing. What I've come up with so far is its inner yearning to offer folks the chance to "free your spirit." That's what I want for my life, so why not others? What gift is your writing brewing?

Systems thinking can help you debug technical systems, but it's also helpful and relevant for systems around your house (or daily life). Your house is a system. Your family is a system. Your morning experience is a system. Anything working well/poorly you can see as a system.

The thing about systems mapping is that you can map systems externally, internally, or both. It's like mind mapping, except it applies to matter, too. How do you do it? Get a sheet of paper (I like extra big) and a pen that you like, and start documenting what you see.

If you’re a leader and you aren’t able to take time off of work without things slipping, it might be time for some *succession planning:* thinking ahead on how the business would operate if you did need to step away. This sets you up both for vacation and business continuity.

Embodied Abundance is about feeling the experience of abundance in your body. It’s about giving and creating from a posture where your “cup runneth over.” Abundance in your body is NOT always about having a lot of money. #embodiedabundance
