It has come to my attention that there is a backdoored rune airdrop script being circulated. It steals your seed phrase. The version I saw uses atob() and btoa() to hide the details of what it is doing. There isn't any need for those functions in an airdrop script. Be careful!.

What happened with the launch of #FractalBitcoin? Block 1 was released. Block 2 quickly followed. Then nothing for 10 minutes. It's meant to be a 30 second block time, so 10 minutes between blocks is quite unexpected.

If you feed your pizza pet more than 100 times, it will stop working. It's a display bug that needs fixing. You can continue to feed your pet, but can't see its current state. I've reported the issue to the dev team so hopefully it gets fixed before it affects too many more pets.

When this happens it's best to assume the bug will be fixed and carry on feeding as normal.
Pizza Pets just fixed a few minor bugs. If your pet appears dead or has any sort of unusual behavior just check back in at least 60 minutes.

@kucoincat It's a script used by token creators to airdrop runes to their community. But instead of doing the airdrop, it sends the wallet seed phrase to the author of the script, so he can drain the token creator's wallet. This isn't anything for recipients of airdrops to worry about.

@StopAndDecrypt Basically this happens all the time. 50 minute block times are pretty common. 60 minute block times are much rarer. We've not seen 5 of them in any 300 block window since blocks 494040 to 494085 in November 2017.

@owocki @Ivshti @antiprosynth Chain rewrites happen every day. The overflow bug fix was a soft fork to fix a bug in the Bitcoin base layer. The DAO fix was a hard fork to save Vitalik and friends lots of money lost due to a buggy contact they foolishly trusted.

@CoinCornerDanny That transaction is only moving 3500 BTC. The rest is change, going back to the same address it came from. (Don't reuse addresses like this; it is safer to use each address only once). 3500 BTC is worth in the region of $175 million (50k * 3.5k = 175kk = 175M).

Another pizza pets bug:. If you feed your pet cocaine, it dies 432 blocks later unless you feed it milk to clean the cocaine away . If the pet evolves to become immortal before the 432 blocks are up, the coke icon disappears, but the pet still dies after 432 blocks without milk.

@lifofifo I mined 4 different ids that started with those 9 digits. The fastest took 1 hour. The slowest was maybe 15 hours. We had plenty of time, because there were a few weeks until the target block would be mined. We ended up using one that happened to also end with a lot of digits.

The exchange is consolidating them, paying about 75% of the value of the inputs in mining fees. It's a nice trick, offloading the network fees for consolidation to the exchange.

@TO @ordinalswallet @veryordinally I just encountered this problem. It turns out that ordinalswallet uses:. m/86'/0'/0'/0.and everyone else uses:. m/86'/0'/0'/x/0.where x is 0 for receiving addresses and 1 for change. Ordinalwallet is missing the x (0 or 1) for receiving or change addresses.

@rodarmor @jimmysong it wouldn't have taken much research to discover that sniping of token names isn't possible due to the commit/reveal requirement. The high fees are mostly due to minting of tokens (where individuals are issued a portion of the initial supply of an existing token).
