Our students are having a great time in Sri Lanka, adventures so far have included a 30km bike ride, beaches and seeing the local wildlife.

Yesterday was a day of culture and sightseeing around Kandy. The Temple of the Tooth in the morning followed by a visit to the Botanical Gardens. In the evening we attended a cultural dance show involving a fire dance finale.

Today we climbed Mt Manigala in the Knuckles mountain range before heading to Kandy for the night. Tomorrow we visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth relic, enjoy cultural performances and visit the botanical gardens in Peradeniya.

An afternoon exploring the ancient religious city of Polonnaruwa by bicycle, a sacred religious site. On the journey back to the accommodation the students gave us their best group karaoke. Tomorrow another early start as we hike through the Knuckles mountains.

This morning we were up early to climb Sigiriya Rock (The Lion Rock) Fortress. Quick stop back at the accommodation to prepare for our afternoon tour around the ancient city of Polonnaruwa.
