Got my hands on a pre-production version of the @Keycard_ Shell. (thanks @glgrau!) It's an amazing piece of open-source hardware and surprisingly good UX. 👏 The best part, it comes with clear signing for @Safe transactions built-in, at no extra cost.

@nvk @Trezor Their concern isn’t real security it’s the feeling of security it creates. It’s just marketing, and I find it deplorable that in 2025, companies still rely on marketing tricks instead of focusing on their clients’ sovereignty. Especially since the two aren’t mutually exclusive.

The @Keycard_ team prepared custom Keycards for the @FundingCommons Builders Residency in Buenos Aires. I’m also bringing readers and a couple of Shell prototypes to test and build with. Excited to collaborate with builders from around the world and see what we create together.

Another day building hardware: These are Shell golden samples - sealed, labeled reference boards. When something looks off, we compare production units to these - a baseline for QA and troubleshooting.
