I can’t imagine the level of strain and wear and tear this went through after it not being worn in several decades. Marylin made history with that dress, I think it should remain sacred and not be touched by anyone. Why not a replica?

Call me crazy but I find this very inappropriate. This gown has gone in history. Marylin did that. Such iconic moment will never be done again. This gown should remain in a museum in a temperature and air controlled case. Not to mention the body dimensions aren’t true same.
