The way the market trades these days it is much more comfortable being out of shorts ahead of a classic Pac-Man rally like today. Another example of why we abide by the OWL's Creed - Adapt or die! There were several "campaigning" cover points on the way down - can u see them?

In the old days I had a rule where I covered all shorts if the market posted a follow-thru day. New markets require new methods, and today I cover all shorts when the market indexes post U&Rs. One can then re-think the short side into the ensuing rally.
