On 20/8 we established the Bob Gurr Engineering Scholarship, in honor of @THEBobGurr, the designer of most, if not all of the ride vehicles at Disneyland when it opened in 1955. This scholarship will be awarded to one of our community’s youth pursuing a career in engineering.

On 10/8, we established the Tania Norris Design Scholarship named in honor of Groundbreaking Imagineer. She’s the designer of New Orleans Square & the Haunted Mansion purple wallpaper. This scholarship will be awarded to one of our community’s youth pursuing a career in design.

On 10/8, we established The Floyd Norman Scholarship. Named for Disney’s first African American animator (Jungle Book, 101 Dalmatians, Toy Story II, & Monsters, Inc.) this scholarship will be awarded to one of our community’s youth of color pursuing an art career.
