So I tried messaging @marclou a couple of days ago regarding some TrustMRR UI issues but had no luck catching his attention. Even sent what I think the issue is after some due diligence Maybe the algo can help me so he can get it fixed ๐

I believe there was a before/after when Laravel Cloud got released. While Laravel always showed big support and love to Vue (and they still do), having React as their frontend choice for the product made most of devs transition into it too. You can read more here:
laravel.com
How we built Laravel Cloudโs web app: from the RILT stack and action pattern to testing, local fakes, and following Laravel conventions to stay fast and flexible.
So you're saying that majority now use Shadcn for design in Laravel. But it means they all use *React*? What about devs who are back-enders and wanna use Tailwind without React/Vue? They go for Flux for design? Or Filament? Or still Bootstrap? Or are such devs extinct?

I had a working personal AI assistant 2 months ago that I connected through WhatsApp with Twilio and Python w/FastAPI. Today I tried to make use of it again and it just wouldnโt receive any message. Couldnโt get past 1 checkmark, even with the number fully operational on Twilio

Let's say you intend to send text messages with a platform like Twilio. You get a phone number, A2P compliance, contact list, you're ready to go. But it turns out Twilio itself doesn't send text messages through some UI. It's made for us devs to send them programmatically.

It's 2025. You drop some tasks into Codex, make it start working, pick up your kid from school, then come back to review everything and make sure that it works. Everything is broken but it was a good feeling anyway. life is great

GPT-5.1-Codex-Max is now available in the VSCode Codex extension. I've given it some long-running tasks and some functionalities to implement in a SaaS that I'm working on, biggest impact I had was in tokens saved in the 5h window (around 29% ish). They cooked ๐

Happy Friday! If your application needs to send text messages to end users, you need to have something called "A2P 10DLC campaign" approved with some CPaaS provider (Twilio, Vonage, etc.). Luckily there's a guide on how to get you up and running in 20 mins

Iโm working on a corporate AI platform that provides specific insights to the business owners. Implemented the backend fully on Python + FastAPI. Iโm recycling the web app boilerplate but I rewrote the entire backend on NestJS with TS simply because Python is only great at DS/ML

I've been toying around with NestJS lately God I love it so much.. guess it's because it has a similar structure as Laravel does, so it was pretty easy to get familiar with it

I'm building a Python package to send notifications across multiple channels ๐๐ I've been looking for an existing option that'd allow me to set up my channel keys/secrets then perform the notification. Since I found none, I'm working on my own. More to come soon ๐

I've spent some days looking for a specific Python package that allows me to implement notifications through different channels (SMS, Slack, etc...) Had no luck finding them, so I'm building my own and making it public while also sharing my journey. ๐
