They are designed to connect us to ourselves and also alert us to places in ourselves that need to be cared for. So when big emotions pop up, take some time to ask God what they are trying to show you. Then respond from that connection. 🥰.

Some of us have been told that our emotions will lie to us, and we shouldn’t trust them. God created every single emotion. So how could they be liars? .Emotions are indicators of what we believe and what’s going on inside of us.

Everything has a consequence: good and bad. Shame doesn't help you sort out new ways of doing things, it promotes self-hatred and fear. Grace gives you eyes to see a new way that offers hope and healing. Do that. 😉. @pollynay
