While exploring what decentralized Web3 AI is competing with, I've been using NotebookLM. A new update enables it to make mind maps and video summaries of research. It's been quite useful!. I can even share the entire notebook for this research or just elements of it.

Big Tech is tying itself into knots over Responsible AI. Web3 AI hasn't mentioned it once. This could be a huge advantage Web3 AI has over the incumbents -.if Web3 AI projects are focusing on the right things.

No more magical internet money???.Not if you want to run a project with staying power. Web3 businesses should be in the business of staying in business -.- this requires running lean and earning revenue above costs, which isn't normal in these parts. Luckily for the industry,

Everyone is talking about “responsible AI,” but few are doing anything about it. New survey by Infosys shows many companies already experiencing issues such as privacy violations, systemic failures, inaccurate predictions, and ethical violations. @forbes

Web3 businesses have the luxury of tremendous flexibility. They're run by small teams and have ample runways thanks to crypto. But longevity requires carefully aligned incentive structures. Are Web3 projects up to it?. @thepoktopus shared his thoughts with me on Web3 and AI :)

While Web3 AI teams are busy building, big tech is busy defending their corporate interests. How will decentralized tech from the Web3 space compete in the AI sector? Maybe a compromise is in order. Think - when CZ first wore a suit and tie. .

Big Tech builders and Big Government regulators say they're developing and implementing AI responsibly. They emphasize human impact, fairness, and equality - all in very different ways. Our Web3 brethren will find that they will need to reckon with Responsible AI if they wish to

We've got to stop being clowned by AI. Big tech and national governments are pushing Responsible AI frameworks-. But their effectiveness is. questionable thus far. Do you think Web3-based AI frameworks are better?

Here's a primer on what I'll be exploring with this brief study on the state of the field and where I think Web3 AI should go with it.

Want mass adoption? Follow the rules!. Web3 AI projects will conform to at least some of the principles laid out by national governments and big tech if it will scale up. Here I'll introduce most of the principles shared by either side - in later content, I'll explore the

Ultimately, Web3 tech may need to conform to survive. Unsurprisingly, there's a fundamental schism between trad tech and Web3 AI. Whereas national governments and big tech focus on social issues, our Web3 brethren are focusing on opensource SC-governed fairness.

These two are not the same. While Web3 AI builders focus on utility, decentralization, and economic viability-. Multinationals and governments are ensuring AI tech does negatively impact social inequality. In the end, Web3 will have to bend the knee or win a war.
