1/ We've been heads down π§βπ» developing a toolset that helps understand routing and liquidity performance for @Uniswap V2. Here's a thread that breaks down all the important concepts and features π§΅

8/ We'd love to hear π£ from the community about the interest in using an advanced Uniswap trading product? h/t @jessewldn π https://t.co/6A4C90eTtk
While there's been progress on each of these RFPs for @uniswapgrants, all of these still stand:

7/ Here's the dashboard with Top 10 best trades π₯, amount of money saved, and other interesting statistics π. https://t.co/vEF4Y9Z3WE

6/ When we simulated the trade with our multi-path router π, we were able to get an additional $5,198!!! π₯³πΈ by routing the trade through multiple Uniswap pools! β οΈ Note, it would've cost more gas to execute this transaction, but the excess in return more than makes up for it.

5/ Usually, routing via hub tokens results in a higher return, but in this case, it cost the user ~$549!!π & more gas β½οΈ by taking a longer route. See the image below, Uniswap takes OCEAN > WETH > ALBT (in π΅), even though there's a better single-path route OCEAN > ALBT (in βοΈ)

4/ When @uniswapgrants funded our project, we were tasked with finding inefficiencies in routing through π hub tokens (i.e. WETH, DAI, USDC, USDT, COMP, and MKR). Here's a blog post outlining the issue further: https://t.co/o1FF7xfZvE

3/ A few days ago, there was a large trade worth $94,368 in OCEAN for ALBT. And as you can see in the picture βοΈ above, we found a better single-path and multi-path route π₯ that was significantly better! See tx here:

2/ We built a dashboard with large (>$50k) trades populated from @graphprotocol Uniswap V2 subgraph πΈ. Then we analyzed how those trades would have performed with our single-path (not restricted to hub tokens), and multi-path routing π

1/ Last week, we released our product that helps the @Uniswap community understand inefficiencies with V2 routing π£. We decided to run some analysis π¬ against live trades to measure the performance and here's what we found 𧡠https://t.co/WWHsn8Z0yT

We're building a dashboard π that posts new trading and liquidity provisioning opportunities to help π£οΈ the @Uniswap community make better trading decisions. Let us know what features you'd like to see π€!

Using the simulation πΎ tool we built with the support of @uniswapgrants, you can break down π§ the trades further and play with different parameters like the number of hops and slippage to destination πΊοΈ

Analyzing π¬ route inefficiencies for @Uniswap V2 helps you understand where #Liquidity is missing π» in pairs. $GNO and $GRT benefit massively via multi-path routing as seen in our reporting π tool

Some statistics π to highlight in the below video: - 8/1406: π Single path trades with a higher token yield - 166/1406: π³ Multi path trades with a higher token yield - πΌ18% (+$10k): π± Largest multi-path improvement found - $GNO $GRT: π€ tokens with the most liquidity crunch

It's time to take a deeper dive πͺ into the @Uniswap V2 routing performance π tool we released yesterday. https://t.co/WWHsn8Z0yT

22/ And of course thank you to the UGP v0.1 members that voted to fund our project: @jessewldn, @monetsupply, @ashleighschap, @rleshner, and @kaiynne

21/ We used the data from the Uniswap V2 @graphprotocol subgraph to compile the data needed to build the routing information:

20/ In order to quickly get the default Uniswap V2 routing information, we used a great library built by our UGP cohort member @devjoshstevens
2.0.0 simple-uniswap-sdk now supports trading on uniswap v3 and uniswap v2 side by side. This means dApps can use 1 easy interface to get the best quotes comparing both versions of uniswap in a simple web2.0 style npm package. @Uniswap @uniswapgrants

19/ We have a lot of people to thank π€© for supporting our project. First of all, thanks to @nkennethk and @uniswapgrants for being a great resource and enabling us to research and develop these concepts.

18/ Advanced trading πΈ interface for Uniswap -- like what @kwenta_io has done for @synthetix_io traders. We can expose niche trading features, real-time data, and simulation tools so traders can execute the orders smarter π€
Kwenta is currently King of the volume charts in the @synthetix_io ecosystem. π New trading tools frequently added. Governance token in the works. L2 on the way. Zero slippage, no matter the trade size. Running out of reasons to not use Kwenta... https://t.co/pM2el8pg68

17/ Multi-path & multi-protocol (mixin V2 π and V3 π
pools) trading via smart contracts so traders can execute the trades that we found and get better order fill all on Uniswap V2. Maybe even multi-block trades as mentioned by @_Dave__White_:
I've been working on a new type of automated market maker with @danrobinson and @haydenzadams. The Time-Weighted Average Market Maker, or TWAMM (pronounced "tee-wham"), helps traders on Ethereum efficiently execute large orders. https://t.co/nvCPDJIrlY
