Been a Dean for a number of years in my career and I couldn’t agree more. Sometimes you need to help the teacher and the other students to refocus and build back the learning environment.
Suspending a student for sure doesn't help the student who is out of school - but it does help the other 29 students to have a classroom where they learn. One student can ruin learning for others - we need to start thinking about the other students in the room.

Enjoying a historical Barrington Boys Basketball season and trip to Champaign. On top of that I run into Phil “Swish” Judson of the legendary 1952 Hebron Green Giants (enrollment: 98 students). This year marks the 70th anniversary of their State Championship. #Barringyonathletics
