Last week at Devoxx Belgium I asked for feedback from another speaker whom I respect and has much more experience than me. He gave me some tough love. I felt like my slides completely sucked at the end of our short meeting 💩.

Once I had the contract, I reported it to Slack and provided screenshots. They terminated the workspace and then they opened another. I reported that too. They still came back to me asking if I am still interested in the opportunity 😠.

I am impressed that they actually wrote legal language that appears real!. I would imagine that they used an AI to help them. Obviously, impersonating someone else is illegal and can't be made legal by appearing to write legal language to that tune.

After joining Slack, they sent me a contract to sign, whose second term was:. "For compliance with U.S. security policies, the Developer acknowledges and agrees that they will perform services using a U.S. citizen’s identity as provided by the Company. ".

Meantime, I got to work. The company name did not appear anywhere on the Internet other than their website 🚩, the domain had privacy enabled and none of the names could be found on LinkedIn or anywhere else on the web 🚩🚩🚩.
