The Met Gala makes me feel a bit sick. It glamourises extreme wealth and ridiculous beauty standards under the guise of art and fashion. A party for the elite whilst ordinary people struggle. The pics literally make me think of The Hunger Games.

The feeling when you buy alcohol at self service and the cashier looks at you purposefully for a few seconds before deciding NOT to ID you 😂😭

So pleased for the students at my school. Another year of wonderful History results despite me panicking for the past 48 hours. Now to enjoy the rest of the summer holidays 🥹🥳

Week 4. I’ve become one of those people who talks about dry January all of the time. I love it.

Book 25. Final book of 2023. Chaotic. Funny. Relatable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Book 24. This is one of the weirdest and most disturbing books I have ever read but it totally captivated me. A very spooky commentary on the struggle for power in the medieval period. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Book 23. Natalie Haynes killing it yet again. She takes the story of Medusa as the monster and absolutely smashes it to pieces. Brilliant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Book 22. I really enjoy retellings of the Greek myths but I fear I’ve read too many about the Trojan war now which made this feel a little bit repetitive. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
