Some of our free shape files on https://t.co/MAHVe7s5kA were tripped up by the unexpected appearance of https://t.co/GvzS4K8NQ0 (DBF field width for osm_id: 10)... fix being deployed.

There's an issue with our latest .osm.pbf files on the download server that makes them unreadable with Osmosis. osc files/xml files not affected. Fix expected tomorrow.

Some performance issues on our #openstreetmap download server in the last couple of days but we've now installed two extra proxies so that's sorted. Also blocked a couple IPs that were downloading several TB each month. If something has stopped working for you, pls get in touch.

Pro tip: If you use our #openstreetmap download server and if you still the .osm.bz2 files, see if your toolchain perhaps supports the modern .osm.pbf format instead - leaner, faster to process, and usually more current than the .osm.bz2!

Small hiccup on our OpenStreetMap download server today, tonight's updates are coming through now.

The PBF files we generated today on the download server were accidentally incompatible with osmium versions before 2.14 (and therefore, incompatible with osm2pgsql 0.94). They are being replaced by old-style compatible files now.
