NDAD’s newest chapter began in August 2024 with the opening of our Dickinson office. Found at 3275 West Ridge Drive, Suite K, this location was created to meet the needs of southwestern North Dakota. With it, we continue our mission of providing resources, support, and hope.

The story of Escape to the Lake began in 1994 at Devils Lake and now lives on at Nelson Lake. Because of the support from staff, volunteers, sponsors, and participants, it has grown into North Dakota’s longest-running adaptive water recreation event.
