Geoff came out of retirement to win the 1980 Sprint Cup on Double Form. I got his autograph on the old card betting ticket afterwards and kept it - partly ripped so the bookie knew it had been paid - for years.

Bruce Raymond and now Geoff Lewis gone in the same week. My two go-to riders when I used to leg it from school to see the last couple of races at midweek Haydock meetings. So sad.
