People that live alone see the highest benefits of owning a dog not only for physical reasons, but they also improve mental health, lower stress, and create positive attachments. Starting healthier habits earlier will ultimately lower the risk for cardiovascular disease. #ANS211

#ANS211 Food safety is so important everywhere in order to prevent the spread of food borne pathogens or diseases. Always remember to wash your hands and all surfaces before and after preparing food. Also remember to always store food properly.

#ANS211 Are you eating fast food or family food? Frequent fast food meals can have negative health impacts. You could be eating so much healthier while supporting local farmers at the same time. Feed your belly and your heart knowing that you supported a local family.

Vaccinating animals not only protects the animal from disease, but it also protects any person that consumes their meat from transmittable diseases. Most importantly, eating meat from a vaccinated animal will not hurt you! #ans211 https://t.co/VfJQqOnJOn

The persuadable public knows a little bit about a lot of different things. We, as animal science students, are the experts. It is our responsibility to educate and advocate for agriculture. #ans211
