So incredibly proud of Fort Severn First Nation. They have worked tirelessly these last few days to locate Steffen, with little to no support from any level of government. They have taken on this responsibility at their own cost. #Norway https://t.co/kbviQtAJgG

To clarify, the ⁦@rcmpgrcpolice⁩ have done very little to locate the missing person. Fort Severn First Nation is doing everything they can to find him. At their own expense. And they are in co-mgt. Where is #Canada #Ontario #Manitoba to help search.

As we prepare for this last minute meeting with the Prime Minister, these are the situations our communities are facing. We cannot talk about resource development until our people have access to basic necessities, like food and water.

A just and prosperous Ontario must be built on respect - for Indigenous sovereignty, for workers’ rights, and for the land and waters that sustain us all. Miigwetch Ontario Federation of Labour for standing in solidarity with us. #StopBill5

Being ‘passionate’ doesn’t give you an excuse to express your racism. If and when Doug Ford is ready to personally apologize to the people of Nishnawbe Aski Nation, we will consider it. If the Premier is sincere with his apology, he needs to show it, not just say it.
