I’m SO OVER THIS DISCUSSION. No interference, no blocking, no nothing. Once he cleared Castellano and drifts out that’s what ANY rider would do to get his horse to relax. This happens all the time in racing but people watch 3 races a year and are experts.
First time seeing this since I was at the race. Kind of strange how Baffert’s other horse was there to block instead of to win. Dangerous for sure. Gamesmanship or unfair?

Tommy was in NOLA to give a speech and came to

. I was about 8 yrs and told him my dad’s horse couldn’t lose later in the card and to bet! He did, horse won, he got in the win picture and started his speech later that night about a kid giving him a winner! RIP

There were 4 horses in the Derby that had strong published full 6 furlongs works in their lead up to the Derby. 3 of them ran 1,2,3 and the other Like the King. Baffert (7) and O’Neil (2) derby winning trainers and Brad Cox were their trainers. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.
