@Insect_Nation @Ross_Greer So far as we're aware, there wasn't a Green Party, vegan, LGBT+, trans-friendly candidate available for war leadership at that time. It's reasonable to prefer the lesser of two evils in any comparison like the one you suggest, so... yes; I'd take Churchill. And so should you.

@zzainaaa1 @Ross_Greer I doubt many of his wartime decisions were principally driven by racist ideals. Like most people in his shoes, he'd probably be overwhelmingly concerned with the practical matters of provisioning, communications, manpower and the ever-present threat of violent death.
