Nice charts. Note how "disease" at age 0 greatly exceeds all rates from all causes of death thru age 19. These are mainly from congenital birth defects. We can also see that firearm is not a leading cause of death until after age 15.
I have updated some of these gun death graphs for the 2023 CDC data. These first four show deaths by age range: 1. total deaths by injury mechanism at each age; 2. same as 1, but without age 0, for clarity; 3. same as 2, but cumulative; 4. same as 2, by developmental age ranges.
