As a software engineer, I know how powerful these tools can be. But when fake videos spread faster than the truth, they don’t just fool people, they erode trust in everything. Tech companies built this, and there needs to be accountability.
50,000 people have seen this fake AI video of “tanks” crossing the bridge to Belle Isle in Detroit. It uses The Detroit News logo, many in the comments think it’s real.
